Introduction to the Study of Sport

All of the university courses I have taken have been a part of my journey to become a teacher. My first year in post secondary education was spent at Okanagan College in the Business Administration program. After that year, I realized that business wasn’t for me so I took a year off to figure out what I wanted to do. Once I decided to become a teacher, I never looked back and Thompson Rivers University was where I wanted to complete my education. Right from the beginning, I wanted to make social studies my teachable coming out of my undergrad. Most of the courses I took were leading to social studies. I really enjoyed history as you can see, it was also my major. Later in my undergrad, I started taking anthropology courses which I really enjoyed and started to get super interested in. If I had taken anthropology earlier in my academic career, I would have done my arts undergrad with an anthropology undergrad. Please note that I did not fully finish my undergrad degree, but that is a plan of mine in the near future to finish it up via online courses. I take huge pride in all of my time I have spent in university and am so thankful that I got the opportunity to do so much learning.
